Description

The nose is the projecting region of the face that contains the nostrils. The nasal bones and nasal cartilages, particularly the septal cartilage and upper and lower lateral cartilages, influence the contour of the nose. A male's nose is typically bigger than a female's. The throat is the front section of the neck, located in front of the vertebra, in vertebrate anatomy. It houses both the pharynx and the larynx. The epiglottis is a flap that separates the oesophagus from the trachea (windpipe), preventing food and drink from being inhaled into the lungs. The larynx, also known as the voice box, is an organ in the top of the neck of tetrapods that is involved in breathing, sound production, and protecting the trachea from food aspiration. The pharynx is the area of the throat behind the mouth and nasal cavity and above the oesophagus and larynx. This book contains all the relevant data and new techniques to diagonise.
