Studying history is the examination of the past as it is revealed in the written records people have left behind. The general public considers the past the unchanging bedrock on which we historians and archaeologists stand, with all its decisions made, its participants deceased, and its history recorded. However, in our capacity as historians, we understand that what appears to be quicks is actually bedrock, that some details of the tale remain untold, and that what has already been saying is tainted by the present circumstances. The term "historiography" describes a volume of historical writing on a certain topic as well as the study of historians' research methods and the evolution of "history" as a discipline. A field of study that is relatively current now is the role that historiography, or the writing of history, plays in fostering either peace or violence. The goal of contemporary historians is to recreate a record of human endeavors and to get a deeper comprehension of them. This understanding of their role is relatively recent, having emerged in the late 18th and early 19th centuries along with the emergence of "scientific" history as an academic discipline. Historiography was not at the center of civilization before the late first century. History was almost never a significant component of general education, and it never claimed to offer an understanding of human life. This wider goal belonged to philosophy, religion, poetry, and other works of imaginative fiction. In order to satisfy the needs of students and general readers, the book is written straightforwardly and clearly.
