Nano, as its name itself suggests its meaning that it is smaller than micro, which is itself smaller than macro. Nanocomputer is the logical name for a smallest computer which serves all the purposes of a modern personal computer, the only difference is its size. Nanocomputing is a term that is coined for the representation and manipulation of data by computers that are smaller than a microcomputer. The devices that we get to see today employ transistors with channels below 100 nanometers in length. Now, this is exactly what draws attention. It offers the potential for new and faster kinds of computers, more efficient power sources and life-saving medical treatments. Potential disadvantages include economic disruption and possible threats to security, privacy, health and the environment. The Internet of Things is the future, and has already enabled devices, home appliances, cars and much more to be connected to and exchange data over the Internet.
