Physical Education is the process by which changes in the individual are bought about through movements experiences. Physical Education aims not only at physical development but is also concerned with education of the whole person through physical activities. In sports administration, just as in all other aspects of industry, it is important to get the right people in the right post. All too often in the past in voluntary sports organizations, for example, the treasurer has been an automatic appointment because they have been a local accountant or the secretary has been the least unwilling of the assembled AGM members, and the committee has been elected by those who were too slow to take their hands down from a previous vote. This sort of ad hoc appointment needs to be discouraged if progress is to be made in the planning and development of sport at club, local and national level. Administrative excellence is the key to the success of any physical education programme. The systematic organization of the programme, selection of efficient personnel, sound financial policy, good staff moral and good public relations are the principal elements in administration of physical education. Physical education holds an important position in modern educational system. No doubt, complete development is impossible without a sound body. Health and physical education is also important from national social point of view. Our youth cannot be steered towards the pursuit of national development till this subject of health and physical education is properly taught in our school.
